Revenger 25
There's more than a
touch of James Bond style about this low slung bottom inflatable
from Britain. James Hill reports.
These craft have the pedigree of a champion and in skilled
hands easily capable of 50 knot top speeds. For a Bond-like getaway
they're just right.
Typically, yacht RIB are white, however, the Revenger 25 offers a
more discreet dove grey and white trim. Like an E Type Jaguar it
sits low and lean and ready to pounce.
Whatever way you look at it Revenger 25 is a fetching craft and at
7.6m overall about as big a tender as you would want in Australia.
Realistically, you'd be struggling to find deck space on a motor
yacht under 100-foot so the market is limited in that respect.
However, as importer Jonathan Lettin states, Revenger will please a
lot of people as a personal sports craft. So save a few million and
buy a Revenger as your summer runabout. In most cases the marina
cafe set will think you've just stepped off a yacht so you'll still
get the best table!
